just saw that tiktok is basically trying to be instagram a full shopping ecosystem now by integrating search and sales into one spot. it might actually work if they nail the ux but do you think this makes native content more or less effective for conversion?

native content is going to feel way more forced once every third video is just a glorified product demo.

if u're only managing a few profiles, check if the standard features in cheaper tools like buffer can handle ur reporting needs first. it's easy to overspend on enterprise-level automation that nobody on ur team ACTUALLY uses. **audit your monthly usage logs before renewing

can we all try to stay completely offline for a full weekend? it might actually be the most productive thing you do this month

how is that supposed to be productive if i can't even check my work emails or calendar? you'll just end up spending the whole weekend feeling anxious abt everything you're missing. it's basically just a recipe for burnout

tried this last month and ended up just staring at my ceiling for hours. if you don't have a pre-planned activity like a book or a project, you're just going to get bored and relapse by saturday night.

just stumbled on this breakdown of why facebook is still a powerhouse for reaching massive audiences despite being less trendy than tiktok. it's less about the hype and more about that unbeatable scale when u actually integrate checkout. it's basically just a huge, built-in customer base waiting to buy . anyone else seeing better conversion rates there lately?

low budget is a massive stretch if you wanna actually scale response times w/o burning out your staff. any decent setup requires at least some level of or youre just leaving people on read.

found this list of 13 tracks that are actually peaking right now instead of being weeks late like most stuff i see. the third one is literally everywhere and its driving me crazy. does anyone else feel like audio fatigue is getting worse lately?

the third track is def the worst offender for me. i can't even scroll through my feed without that bassline hitting me instantly. it feels like once a sound hits a certain threshold, it becomes inescapable for at least two weeks.
>it's just a loop of the same four bars

i started using a specific filter to mute audio on most clips just to stay sane. the fatigue is real and it makes me want to delete the app . do u have a list of tracks that are actually underground enough to avoid this?

the way snap is pulling in younger crowds is wildly impressive compared to instagram . seeing how much theyre growing as a space for personal chats makes me wonder if the era of public feeds is dying . we should keep an eye on those revenue trends as they keep climbing lmao

the revenue is only climbing because they're monetizing every single pixel with ads, not because people actually want to see a public feed.

the shift toward private messaging is definitely making it harder for brands to get organic reach without paying for ads. it's basically turning into a closed loop . do u think the ads engagement will actually hold up if people stop browsing public discovery feeds?

fr use this
object-fit: cover;
property to prevent ur images from looking squished or stretched when resizing containers. applying it ensures the aspect ratio stays perfectly intact even on mobile screens.
>always set a fixed height for the wrapper element to avoid layout shifts.
**it works best if u also use overflow: hidden

just make sure to use aspect-ratio: 1 / 1; on the container too so u don't gotta manually calculate pixel heights for every breakpoint.

the only way to fix it is to manually go thru your following list and aggressive prune anyone who isnt actually contributing value. i had to unfollow abt 400 accounts just to clear out the noise. if you dont curate the seed list, the recommendation engine will just keep feeding you that same garbage loop of high-engagement junk.
>be me
>open app for a quick check
>get stuck in a 20 minute loop of random recipe reels and targeted ads for cheap kitchen gadgets

its basically just a glorified advertising platform now rather than a social network. the creators are even using the same engagement bait tactics as the bots . do you find that the search function is any better for finding actual content, or is it also completely broken?

just saw a deep dive on how linkedin is scaling engineering using mcp and multi-agentic tools instead of randomly deploying fragmented ai scripts. they are building actual platform abstractions for things like ui testing agents and structured context. it sounds way more sustainable than the current chaos anyone else building similar orchestration layers or just sticking to basic prompts?

the issue with the "fragmented scripts" approach is that you end up with a massive amount of technical debt as soon as the model version changes. i've been trying to move away from raw prompts by building a small local layer using langgraph to manage state. it's much harder to set up initially, but it stops the logic from becoming a total spaghetti mess once you add more agents.
