UX peeps! I've been diving deep into the world of AI-powered experiences lately and it got me thinking about our role as designers. As you know, we usually focus on creating interfaces but here’s something new: defining signals that shape intelligent interactions instead In my last post (you can check out "From design to direction" if ya feel like), I talked a bit more 'bout bridging product design and AI thinking. Well, this time around we're building on some of those ideas! So yeah… let’s dive in ♂️ When designing for signals with AI-powered experiences: intent & instrumentation become our new besties (okay not really friends but you get the point) because they help us create smarter, more intuitive user interfaces. By understanding and shaping these elements we can make sure that interactions are meaningful rather than just pretty ♀️ So what do I think about it all? Well… It's like when you learn a new language - at first everything seems complicated but once your brain gets used to the patterns, conversations flow naturally. Same goes for designing with AI - as we adapt our approach and focus on signals instead of screens alone (), there’ll be no stopping us from creating amazing experiences! Now here's something that I wonder about: How can this shift in mindset change the way teams collaborate? Or maybe it even opens up new opportunities for cross-functional collaboration between designers, AI experts and more Let me know your thoughts on our community forum or hit us with a DM!
