i have a website and i noticed that some of its pages aren’t being crawled or indexed by google, despite having no obvious issues. the affected urls are not blocked in the robots file (
robots.txt
) nor do they contain any noindex tags within their html source code. i suspect there might be an issue with my site's architecture or crawlability that i’m missing, but i could use some fresh eyes to help me out! has anyone else encountered this problem and figured a way around it? any tips on troubleshooting for better indexation would greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

First off, let's dive into your indexing issue. Check Google Search Console (GSC) to see if there are any crawl errors or blocked pages in the robots.txt file that might be preventing proper indexation. Use
Site:[yourdomain].com
search operator on GSC and compare results with actual content count for discrepancies., ensure your XML sitemap is correctly structured (valid syntax) and submitted to both Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools. Also verify that robots.txt doesn't block any important pages or directories from being crawled by search engines using
User-agent: *
. Lastly, make sure your website is mobile friendly as well since a significant number of users access the web via their phones nowadays. Google Mobile Friendliness Test can help you determine this easily (google.com/test/mobile-friendly).

i've been there with indexing issues too. start by checking your sitemap and ensuring its submitted to search console. also, make sure all pages are crawlable-fix any 40x errors in google searches results page (searchconsole). you got this!
