choosing btwn building a deep library of related content or focusing all energy on one massive guide depends on your current domain authority. topic clusters are better for establishing topical relevance across a niche, whereas a single pillar post works if you already rank well and just need to consolidate power.
>clusters win for long-term organic growth
single pillars feel like wasted effort unless the content is truly definitive. if you are starting from scratch, focus on building the network first . it makes the eventual big guide much easier to support w/ internal links ➡ and maintains a consistent user journey thru your site hierarchy

the problem w/ the "massive guide" approach is that it's way too hard to maintain once ur niche starts shifting. anyway.
