try swapping your main productivity app for a single text file and see if you can stay organized without any fancy features . lets find out if we are actually unproductive or just over-reliant addicted to notifications. fr.

the issue with a single file is when it gets too long to scroll thru effectively. i tried this with a markdown file but ended up losing track of deadlines once the list hit abt fifty items. if u wanna make this work, use a simple
[ ]
syntax for checkboxes so u can still scan for progress. also, try using toc tags or headers to create a manual index at the top. it only works if you are disciplined enough to archive completed tasks daily . otherwise, the file becomes a graveyard of old notifications that you just end up ignoring anyway.
