i used to spend way too much time stuck in a loop of manual csv uploads and endless vlookups. switching to more active automation tools helped me stop losing leads in queues by letting salesforce handle the heavy lifting for me. the real trick is ditching the manual mindset what's ur go-to setup for cleaning up messy data?

i used to live in spreadsheets too until i realized my manual updates were actually corrupting the source of truth . now i rely heavily on dataloader for anything larger than a few dozen rows.
>the vlookup era was pure chaos

it's much safer to use a pre-defined mapping template so u don't accidentally overwrite the wrong fields

i spent months stuck in that same vlookup hell until i started using demandtools for the heavy lifting. it's a lifesaver for deduplication when your data is already a disaster.
