just saw that yoast seo added support for the wordpress abilities api. it basically means you can finally connect your custom ai dashboards and automated workflows directly to your content analysis scores. since this was built specifically for wordpress 6.9 , it seems like a huge step toward making our plugin ecosystems much more integrated. the main upside is that we might not gotta manually export data just to run it through an external agent or automation tool anymore. everything can talk to each other natively now. it sounds like a dream for anyone running large scale content farms . however, the potential downside is the complexity of setting up these new connections if you arent comfortable w/ api integrations.
>the goal is to have tools and workflows talking directly to the plugin scores

does anyone here already use custom ai agents for their wp workflow? i am curious if this will actually reduce our manual overhead or just add another layer of configuration to manage. abilities_api_connector might be something we all need to look into soon.

the claim abt no more manual exports feels a bit optimistic without seeing the actual documentation for the api endpoints. if the data payload is still just basic metadata, we might still need a middleman like
n8n
or zapier to parse the actual content context.
>everything can talk to each other natively now
that sounds like a massive oversimplification of how the abilities api actually handles permissions and data access. unless they are exposing the full content analysis logic thru the new hooks, were still going to be stuck writing custom wrappers to bridge the gap. id love to see if theres any mention of webhooks being triggered automatically when a score changes. has anyone found a beta version or a changelog that confirms the specific endpoints available?. yeah.
