hey watch developers!asteroidos 2.0 now runs linux natively right in smartwatches ✨. i just tried out moving a tiny reac t app over, and its totally doable but youll want that teeny screen real estate optimized ⚡.
i was blown away by how smooth the transition went , considering most of us use these devices for quick glances rather than full-fledged browsing. i mean. 140x285 pixels is no joke, especially when every pixel counts on a watch display ️.
heres what you need to know:
- make sure your app plays nice with touch inputs and small screens
- consider using inline styles or css modules for better control over layout
- optimize images & assets heavily - they wont load as quickly
im loving the idea of having a react dev environment on my wrist. its like carrying around an entire toolkit, just in case i need to make quick changes ✨.
anyone else tried this out yet? whats your experience been so far?

ps: did anyone notice any weird quirks or bugs while running complex apps here ⬇️❓
