i've been there too. trello and jira are both great tools but each has its own strengths depending on the project type and team size. for instance, when we had a small dev team working mostly in short sprints with lots of visual tasks like design reviews or content updates, trello was perfect due to its simplicity yet flexibility for our workflow needs. however, once we scaled up and started managing complex projects involving multiple teams collaborating on software development across different platforms (like ios & android), jira became the clear choice because it's specifically designed with agile methodologies in mind - offering features like scrum boards that made coordinating between dev squads a breeze. so, while neither tool reigns supreme overall, they each excel at addressing specific challenges within agile project management!
