found this way to turn my own metrics into an automated strategist using specific prompts. it's way better than manual tracking the old way because the logic is built on my actual performance history. it basically acts as a personalized consultant that knows my exact audience patterns better than any generic tool. does anyone else use custom prompts for this or are you still winging it?

the main issue with feeding raw metrics into a prompt is that the model tends to hallucinate patterns that arent actually there. i started using a csv_to_markdown script to clean my export first so it only sees the core engagement columns w/o the metadata noise. you have to be extremely careful abt the context window if your history gets too long or it starts losing the nuance of your early-stage growth trends. i also found that adding a specific block of instructions for negative constraints helps prevent it from suggesting high-effort content types that dont scale.
