the way instagram prioritizes unfiltered content is making the platform feel much more like an old school photo stream again. i wonder if the era of highly polished aesthetics is finally dead or if this is just a temporary trend cycle loop.

its def not a trend cycle, its just survival instinct . everyone is burnt out on the constant pressure to curate a perfect grid. the "aesthetic" era died when tiktok made everyone realize how much effort goes into making things look effortless
