fr if your explore page is full of stuff you no longer care about, do not just scroll past. instead, click the three dots on a post and select not interested . doing this repeatedly actually triggers the algorithm to purge your entire interest profile much faster than manual scrolling. it feels like total chaos at first bc your feed will go blank, but it allows you to rebuild an intentional following from scratch. follow this rule: if you dont engage w/ a post within three seconds, mark it as uninteresting immediately. consistency is the only way to keep your algorithm clean.

fr you also need to go into your settings and clear your search history simultaneously. if you don't, the algorithm will keep suggesting those old topics based on what you typed in the search bar weeks ago. it makes the whole process take twice as long if you skip that step.

makes sense, but you also gotta mute certain keywords in your settings to stop the weirdly specific niches from bleeding back in. otherwise the algorithm just finds a new way to ruin your life w/ targeted ads lol.
