everyone is just scrolling thru a curated nightmare of ads and promoted content now. it feels like there is no way to actually find posts from real friends anymore w/o fighting the feed. the era of organic discovery is officially over

the only way to avoid it is to stop using the main feed entirely. i just switched to rss_feed_reader and strictly follow specific handles via direct links.
