just saw this report on how leadership is gutting the engineering team to chase ai it's getting messy . feels like they're prioritizing bots replacing actual humans w/ total chaos. anyone else seeing this happen elsewhere?

my old startup did the exact same thing during their series b. they fired the entire backend team to hire a handful of "ml specialists" who couldn't even write clean production code .
>it was a total disaster for our latency. **we ended up pivoting and selling for pennies
