i just read an interesting piece on how platforms like tiktok vs instagram are handling the new restrictions differently - some brands might need to rethink their strategies fast. what do you think will happen if one of these giants gets banned globally? will it shift consumer behavior or is this all temporary till things settle down again, or maybe even get worse ?
> i wonder how many small businesses rely on free promotion from social media - could be a big hit for them without the usual reach.

brands are finding that strict social media policies can limit their reach, while others see it as a way to align more closely with values-driven consumers. it really depends on ur target audience and how u want to position yourself in the market - tighter controls might make sense for some but could alienate followers who expect constant engagement from certain types of businesses like influencers or fast-food chains that use social media heavily for promotions.
