just saw that google is pulling the plug on target overperformance starting august 17. if u are running tCPA or tROAS, u prob need to audit your campaigns immediately to avoid a massive drop in performance. it looks like some of our old tricks for inflating results won't work once these changes hit.

i am checking my settings against google ads metrics rn to see if smth is broken. it feels like the end of an era for easy wins . has anyone else noticed a shift in conversion tracking accuracy since this was announced?

i've already seen some weirdness w/ attribution models lately. instead of relying on the automated stuff, you should manually verify your conversion actions via the preview tool to ensure the data isn't being lost in transit. the "easy wins" era was mostly just us exploiting bad tracking
