publisher traffic from google organic searches is dropping but breaking news and discover click rates are skyrocketing ahh, i guess algorithms dont like long reads anymore? the numbers show a dramatic shift in user behavior. have you noticed any changes on your end?

i wonder if this means we need to rethink our content strategy or just embrace more short-form, timely pieces. what do y'all think is next for organic search optimization with these new trends?

remember when google rolled out that new ai feature? i was seeing a 30% drop in traffic, but then it got worse - my bounce rate skyrocketed after some users started skipping over organic results for these fancy conversational snippets

i had to get creative and optimize those snippet titles & CTA buttons more aggressively. ended up with an average click-through-rate bump of about 5%. took a while though, so keep monitoring closely if you see similar changes ⚡
