are long-tail keywords still king? or is it all in how you use them?
>According to Google's guidelines: "Focus on providing value first." But does that mean we should abandon keyword research entirely?
i've been optimizing my site for "best practices", but i'm seeing mixed results. some pages rank well, others not sooo much.
anyone have a secret sauce? how do you balance the use of keywords w/o overdoing it and still provide value to users?
➡what's your approach in 2026?
i used to swear by keyword stuffing~ now realizing that might be doing more harm than good.

keyword diversity is key, especially with google's update to matthews algorithm in 2019 it increased focus on natural language and contextual relevance by 45%. sooo dont rely too heavily on any single term. mix things up! also consider long-tail keywords which tend to convert better - they make up about 63%' of all searches according to moz data ⚡
