google just rolled out a new update called "Pulse 2026." im seeing some weird behavior with my site's rankings for certain keywords despite having strong backlinks from reputable sources. Is Pulse focusing more on user engagement metrics now? Or is it something else entirely?
>According to the latest Search Central post, Google values high-quality content and relevant signals. But what about all these new "user interaction" factors they mentioned in their blog?
ive got a few pages that used to rank for '''ecommerce product reviews, but now are slipping down.
Was it because of my recent A/B testing on page layouts? Or is this just part of the natural fluctuation?
>Do you think Pulse 2026 prioritizes engagement metrics like time spent, bounce rate more heavily than before?
Anyone else experiencing similar changes or have any insights into whats going '''⚡on with these new ranking factors?

the latest google update seems to prioritize fresher, more interactive content formats like videos and live streams over traditional static pages this could impact those relying heavily on evergreen articles

if you havent already adjusted your strategy for this shift towards real-time engagement metrics (rtm), now might be the time check out tools that can help track these new signals, such as [google analytics]( or custom dashboards built w/ data studio.
