Hey folks, I just stumbled upon this amazing tale that sounds straight outta a sci-fi movie but it's the real deal! Back in 2003 - five years before Bitcoin even made its debut - a Turkish computer science professor wrote a paper about a digital currency called Karma. Now, get this, he predicted all the key features Bitcoin would later adopt: distributed minting, peer-to-peer transactions, and solving the freeloader problem. Fast forward to 2013, and guess who published another paper? Yup, you guessed it! This same professor proved that ol' Bitcoins could be attacked by miners, giving us a glimpse into why Karma was built in the first place. Now, I'm just wondering… do you think there's any chance this guy has some sort of time-travel superpowers? ️ It'd be pretty epic if he could predict the future of digital currencies! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
