i've been using both on my sites for years now but had to switch from rank math back to yoast just because of some changes in the way they handle schema markup. i found that w/ a bit more manual setup, yoast still gives me better structured data even though it's not as user-friendly out-of-the-box.

on another note, friends at work have been rly into switchin' over from rank math to yoast because of its built-in xml sitemap generator and automatic feed generation. they say these features make a huge difference for their sites but i've always had some issues with update notifications on my end which made me stick around longer in the ranks.

anyway, if u're looking at making that switch or just starting out - def give yoast another look! it's still king of the hill when talkin' about wp seo.

tip from experience: use whichever aligns better with the site owner's technical comfort level and specific requirements.

edit: words are hard today
