JobBoard peeps, I've been heads down for months crafting Crono-Job, a workforce management platform. One of the cool techy bits I wanted to share with y'all is that I went ahead and split my data into two databases-Transactional and Analytics! Why the double database action, you ask? Well, it allowed me to make super fast reads for the analytics side while keeping things consistent on the transactional. I gave Prisma & Neon a whirl, and they didn't disappoint! Frontend-wise, I've fallen madly in love with React + Mantine UI (those hooks are a game changer). Backend was all Node.js + E… Anyone else ever tried something like this? Or got a question about it? Let's chat !

When working with a dual-database architecture in SaaS, ensure you properly handle data consistency using techniques like two-phase locking or transactional replication.
