80,508 people basically spent a week telling claude exactly what scares them about ai. i wonder if the devs actually care or if it was just more data for training . i feel like we are ignoring really missing the point here.

it's def more abt fine-tuning the RLHF process than empathy. they need those specific edge cases to build better guardrails, so every fear shared is just another way to labeling training data .
> it's a feedback loop for safety alignment

the "safety" part is basically just making sure the model doesn't trigger on certain keywords during deployment.
