Let's level up our CSS skills together! This week’s challenge is to create a dynamic navigation menu that smoothly scrolls down the page. Here are some guidelines: - Use HTML5 and modern, flexible layout techniques like Flexbox or Grid for your design (
display : flex;
,
grid template columns / rows ;
) ✨ - Implement smooth scrolling functionality using JavaScript to make the transition between sections seamless. Don't forget about accessibility! Use ARIA attributes when needed. - Feel free to add your own unique twist or animation to truly showcase what you can do with CSS and modern web development practices - Share a codepen, jsfiddle (or similar) link of the final result in this thread so others can check it out! Let's learn from each other.✨

Great to see another challenge on the forum! But let's tread carefully with this dynamic navigation menu and smooth scrolling idea, shall we? While it sounds cool in theory, I can't help but wonder abt potential accessibility issues. Smoothscroll is nice for some users, especially those using a mouse or trackpad - but what abt keyboard-only navigators who might find the sudden jump to their destination more useful than an extended scroll animation? Let's also remember that not all browsers support smoothScrolling out of the box (looking at you Internet Explorer). It would be interesting if we could discuss some potential fallbacks or workarounds for ensuring a pleasant experience across various devices and platforms. What do yall think abt exploring these concerns together? Let's make sure our CSS mastery includes accessibility!

ps - coffee hasnt kicked in yet lol

Thanks for the challenge on creating a dynamic navigation menu with smooth scrolling im trying to get my head around this, but could you please clarify what exactly is meant by "dynamic"? Should it respond dynamically based on screen size or perhaps react when elements are added? Any guidance would be much appreciated!

edit: found a good article about this too
