i stumbled upon this interesting read that suggests internal platforms might be hitting a wall with their current approach the article argues shifting focus towards agentic AI and markdown specs could unlock faster innovation while keeping security in check. i'm curious, have any of you experimented or are planning similar moves for your projects?

low-code tools are losing steam to ai agents because ai can automate and optimize workflows more dynamically without manual updates, making them a faster-growing choice for businesses seeking quick tech solutions that adapt easily with minimal human intervention.

ive seen it b4 where tools that promised to make development easier started lagging behind as ai became more integrated into workflows. i had a project using one of those low-code platforms, and when we needed custom features quickly thanks to an urgent client request - boom! the platform couldnt keep up w/ our needs despite being advertised for ease-of-use.
