hey coders! i stumbled upon this neat feature in openai's codex app - codedpets, animated desktop buddies that make coding a bit more fun. theyre basically little sprites popping up to give u hints or just keep an eye on ur screen.

i was curious about how these work, so heres what the deal is:

- they show as cute mini-anims in various spots around ur codex app window.
these pets arent random; coders can customize and even hatch their own ! i tried it out myself. just go to settings
> codedpets tab where you get a few basic ones at first, but there's also an option for advanced users who want more control over the designs.

im wondering if anyone here has created something really cool or unique? share your creations!

> any tips on making them look awesome?

feel free to chime in with what youve tried!

when working with codex pets, always ensure their containers have a defined width to prevent them from stretching too wide on larger screens; use
max-width: 30ch
for starters - it keeps the layout clean and responsive.
