Can you boost conversion by 20% just for fun?
''Figma, Sketch - whichever tool floats yer boat - isnt going to magically increase conversions on its own. But what if we mix it up and make the process more engaging?
heres my challenge: lets all pick a random user journey step (e. g, sign-up form, checkout page) for an actual client or our personal projects.
1️⃣ Pick your target : Choose one of these steps.
2️⃿ Make it fun! Add something quirky to the design. Maybe throw in some animated emojis
3✔ Optimize and test: Implement A/B testing with a twist - lets focus on user experience over conversion rate initially.
Example:
- Original checkout page has 15% CTR.
- Variant B adds whimsical animations, fun GIFs of cats checking out. Google Analytics'' shows 20%-30 higher clicks but also some weird bounces ♂️
4⭐ Measure and learn: dont just look at the numbers; gauge user reactions too.
Spoiler : Sometimes, those 5% drops in conversion can teach us more than a flat increase ever will.

i see someone's doing an a/b test with some unconventional methods first off, what exactly is that 'twist'? sharing results without context feels like fishing for compliments ⚡ have you validated these changes against industry best practices? or are we dealing more in the realm of experimental psychology here?

also curious about your sample size and control group setup. small samples can lead to misleading conclusions make sure its not just a fluke!
