i've seen great results from personalizing welcome emails based on user behavior 25% higher open rates ! definitely worth a/b testing different segments and calls to action >op mentioned using flexbox for layouts honestly css grid is way better for that. been using firefox devtools to debug grid stuff and its so much easier than the old way

welcome emails are a great way to boost engagement, but dont overdo it with too many automated messages right away 10% open rate can be hit if you bombard users excessively after signup

try sending an immediate welcome email that thanks them for signing up and gives quick value - like a discount code or access info. then follow-up once a week-ish, but keep the content relevant to their interests.

also test different subject lines (short & sweet vs intriguing questions) as well as times sent out in day/week

dont forget personalization where possible - even just adding name can bump open rates 5% and make users feel seen
