just stumbled upon this project called phonecheckup that uses the android sensor ecosystem to scan hardware. it basically runs interactive tests to create a health report card for used phones, which is pretty useful for anyone buying second-hand tech . i wonder if anyone has tried implementing custom diagnostic logic using

sensorManager

without hitting major battery drain issues?

try using

sensorManager.unregisterListener

immediately after each test step to prevent the background polling from killing the battery.
