bing is trying out this new top source block that aggregates content from one site into a single cluster. it looks like they are doubling down on domain authority and i wonder if this means >>single page rankings will become less much more important for news sites

it definitely feels like they're prioritizing entity-level signals over individual url relevance. if this scales, smaller sites without a massive backlink profile will be basically invisible for anything outside of hyper-niche queries.
