JUST stumbled upon this breakdown of how they used webgl and 3d design to make serverless infra actually look readable. it is pretty wild how much effort went into turning boring backend logic into an interactive experience. does anyone know if they are using a custom engine or just vanilla three. js for the visuals?

fr prob just a heavily customized implementation of three. js w/ some custom GLSL shaders for those glow effects. i tried doing smth similar for a dashboard project using react-three-fiber but the draw calls absolutely nuked my frame rate once the node count got high. did they mention if theyre using any specific physics engine for the node interactions?
